The Little Red Hen Story

Once upon a time, the animals on a farm were left with no food. The Little Red Hen wanted to explore the field to look for something to eat.

She first went next to the cow and asked will you come with me around the field to find something to eat?

THE COW REPLIED: Oh no its too hot. I can't be bothered to walk.

She then went next to the pig and asked will you help me find food?

THE PIG REPLIED: No I can't come it's too hot and I can't be bothered to move.

Later then she went next to the dog and asked the dog will you help me find food?

THE DOG REPLIED: No I can't it's too hot and I can't walk when it's so hot outside.

And in the end, she went next to the duck and asked will you come with me to find something to eat?

THE DUCK REPLIED: No I can't it's too hot I can't get out
of the water.

When nobody tried to come with her the hen decided to leave
the farm on her own. As she walked found some wheat grains on the ground she was very happy and she returned to the farm with the grains.

She decided to plant the wheat grains. She thought that her friends would help her to plant those grains.

The little red hen went to the cow and said- "look I found wheat grains would you like to plant them with me?"

THE COW REPLIED: No I already told you it's too hot and I can't help you.

The little hen went over to the pig and said- "pig look I found wheat grains would you like to plant them with me?"

THE PIG REPLIED: No I can't the weather is way too hot for this.

She then went next to the dog and asked the dog to help her in planting those grains but the dog also refused to help her saying that it's too hot to work outside.

At last, she went next to the duck and asked hey duck I found some wheat grains would you like to plant them with me.

THE DUCK REPLIED: No not at all I can't leave the water in this heat.

She eventually said, "Well now I'm going to plant them all myself."

When she sow that no one wanted to help her and she decided to plant them by herself.

Weeks had gone by the rainy days had begun the seeds had grown but all the wild grass in the garden which were destroying the grains crop needed some cleaning.

The red little hen asked for help from his friends but as expected they didn't come to help her. And out of frustration with his lazy friends she herself began to remove the wild grass.

Not long after that, the wheat began to grow. It was now time to harvest the ripe wheat.

The hen went next to her friends and asked if they would help her harvest the crop and said- "hey cow buddy the crop has grown will you help me harvest the crop?"

THE COW REPLIED: No I can't.

She then went to the pig and asked- "hey Pig guess what the wheat has grown will you help me harvest the crop?"

THE PIG REPLIED: No I can't.

She then went to the dog and asked- "hey dog the wheat has grown will you help me harvest the crop?"

THE DOG REPLIED: Who me of course not.

Hey, ducky, the wheat has grown will you help me harvest
the crop she asked the duck.

THE DUCK REPLIED: Sorry I can't.

The Little Red Hen than worked till nighttime. She harvested the wheat one by one all by herself it was now time to turn the wheat to flour off she went to ask for help from her friends.

THE HEN ASKED: Hey guys we must grind the wheat to make flour who would like to help me.

The cow said I can't help it's time for me to give milk. The pig said I can't move from my spot. The dog said I can't help either it's my nap time. And the duck said I can't help too sorry.

The hen grinds the wheat in the mill and turned it into flour all by herself. She went to the kitchen first she made bread with the flour she had grounded and at last, put it in the oven and
waited for it to bake.

After the amazing smell of the bread had spread she took it out of the oven and went out to the garden and set on the table.

Then she called her friends- "hey guys the bread is ready to serve who would like to eat it with me."

Seeing the amazing bread in front of the hen they all went next to the hen. All of them wanted to eat delicious bread.

But the red little hen said no I don't want to share with you guys. I did everything on my own and only I deserve to eat it all on my own.

The hen was actually correct because those who don't want to help her in any way to make the bread didn't deserve to have the bread.

The kind-hearted hen couldn't handle the fact that her friends were so hungry. She actually felt bad for them.

All the animals were ashamed. They knew she was right and promised her that they would help her to prepare food from now on.

The hen knew that her friends have learned a good lesson so she shared her bread with them.

Moral of the story: So, kids always believe in hard work and never be lazy in your life. Lazy people always fail in their life whereas hardworking people always flourishes.
